Craft CMS MVP for decision-based learning platform

An EdTech startup needed a working MVP to demonstrate their decision-based learning concept to universities and investors. I built a fully editable platform in Craft CMS within six weeks on a tight budget.

Client: Edutain
Type: Startup
Industry: EdTech
Timeline: 6 weeks

The problem

Edutain had developed a concept for decision-based learning videos aimed at university students. The idea was sound, but they needed a working product to show universities and investors. Without a working product, funding would be nearly impossible to secure.

Two things had to happen simultaneously: video production and a working platform, on a tight budget. The MVP had to be lean but prove the idea.

This was a collaboration with Orangefox Studios, who owned the product and handled video production. I was responsible for the platform build.

The solution

I built the platform in Craft CMS over six weeks. I designed it so the team could edit every course from the control panel. This meant Edutain could update and expand their course library without developer involvement.

Craft CMS was straightforward and had everything an online learning platform needs. Course structures, video content, and learning pathways could all be managed by the client directly.

The MVP worked. It was solid enough to show investors and universities what the idea could become.

Evidence

All stakeholders were extremely happy. The product was good enough to show to investors and explain the idea clearly.
